The TEG® system can operate as a stand alone system
in a laboratory or point of care location. More importantly, however,
the TEG® system can take advantage of existing connectivity options
in place at your location. It is fully network
enabled, and requires no complicated client-server equipment or
configuration. The TEG system runs as a peer-to-peer network, and any
network-accessible workstation with TEG remote software can view any
network-accessible database, displaying results in real time.
Version 3 software lets you run samples wherever you wish—lab, OR, ICU,
etc.—and view them wherever you are. One version of the software runs
the TEG analyzer, and another provides remote viewing anywhere on the
network.
Connectivity is extended even beyond the hospital walls. You can send
samples from the TEG software to anywhere in the world with eSupport.
eSupport provides
interpretation assistance either from your own in-house TEG
interpretation experts or from Haemoscope's team of specialists. You
select one or more tracings and decide who should get them. The
software does the rest...gathers the data, formats it, ends it to your
expert's e-mail address. It can even send an alert to a pager or cell
phone. The tracing and numeric results can be viewed on any computer,
including handhelds, as well as on standard PCs. Patient identifying
information is not sent, in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
An optional LIS interface via TCP/IP—HL7
messages is available. Contact your local representative for details.
